Privacy in this application

BlastManager has prepared a privacy statement that describes how we process your personal data. On this page we have made a short excerpt.

In order for you to become a user of the system we need to register name, telephone number, e-mail address, company affiliation and role. Registration is done either by our customer support, or you may also be registered by a partner or a superior in your company. This information will be available to others in your organisation and to users who have been added to the same project as you.

As a user of the system you are given access to various plans in the projects you have been granted access to. When you read through Method Statements Blasting and blast plans/reports we will also log the time at which the document was opened. This information will be available to everyone in the project, including those who are added later.

All data related to blasting work is stored for 10 years. In accordance with section 83 of the Explosives Regulations we are legally required to retain documentation and plans for a minimum of 3 years. The customer may request that data be deleted after three years, but otherwise it will be deleted 10 years after production when the customer relationship has ended.

BlastManager's servers and data storage run on Microsoft Azure data centres, which comply with industry standards (including ISO 27001) for physical security and availability. We only use data centres located in the EU/EEA.

Cookies

When you log in to the application we will place some cookies on your computer. Below is a description of what these cookies do.

Google Analytics

Cookies used by Google Analytics to measure how many people visit the web pages, and how users navigate the website. The cookie contains no personal information, only information about your device and browser.

Facebook Pixel

We use Facebook Pixel to track use of the website in order to reach visitors with relevant messages for marketing purposes. Facebook places a cookie in your browser that shows that you have visited our website. The information is anonymised and is deleted after 180 days. Facebook Pixel is also used to create Custom Audiences and lookalike audiences.

Wootric

We use Wootric as our Net Promoter Score platform to measure how satisfied our customers are with us. This takes the form of a question that appears at regular intervals, which you may answer if you wish. If you answer, a cookie is stored to record when you last responded to the survey.

The answers from the survey are anonymous and cannot be traced to individual users or organisations.

Other cookies

• ASP.NET_SessionId: used by our application framework to identify that the user's actions come from a specific device. The cookie contains no personal information and is deleted when you close the browser.
• Cookie-accept: created when cookies have been accepted. Contains no personal information. Deleted 5 years after it was created.
